All of our cabinetry manufacturers are chosen for their quality, custom capabilities, price point, and strong working relationship. You may not have heard of any of them, most of them would rather spend their budget on producing quality cabinetry than national advertising campaigns. Because of their commitment to create custom cabinetry, if we can design it, they will build it! Take some time to visit their websites for a very small sample of the options they offer.

• Aristocratic Cabinets

  This small family-owned factory in the beautiful Pacific Northwest produces "Euro-style" frameless cabinetry. Their large selection of door-styles is available in all of their standard wood species. However, they will also make them out of any wood species you desire. They also produce wonderful contemporary veneer doors, you can even choose metal! Now available is optional formaldehyde-free construction.

  In addition to custom built-in cabinetry, this company creates a line of furniture for kitchen and bath, specifically their "Vaniture" or vanity furniture. The pieces may be mistaken for authentic antiques, but have found a way to combine the modern need for storage and beauty. Also available are climate-controlled storage for fine wine and cigars.
  
  
• Huggy Bear's Cupboards

  Also located in the Pacific Northwest, with a silly name for some really nice cabinetry, Huggy Bear produces both framed and frameless cabinetry, including traditional inset-styling. They have a large selection of doors, finishes in both their custom line, and competitively-priced off the shelf line.

  This company was started in Pennsylvania Amish country by three brothers. Signature creates custom cabinetry with true artisan craftsmanship. Their extensive line of styles and finishes are available in both framed and frameless construction. We love their artistic finish capabilities, including distressing, glazing and rub-through finishes.

  Conveniently located just off highway 680 in Walnut Creek (other locations listed on their website), they show a large selection of plumbing fixtures for kitchen and bath. Check out their website, which has links to the websites of the manufacturers they represent. You must sign-in when you get to the showroom to have someone help you. If you go during the week, make an appointment ahead of time.

  Located in Lafayette, this deceptively tiny-looking shop shows an amazing variety of ceramic, porcelain, stone, metal and glass tiles. Stop by just to look around the first time (but prepare to be overwhelmed). The second time, make an appointment with one of their knowledgeable salespeople to help you with your selection.

  It's worth the drive to Hayward for this small stone supplier. They stock slabs of marble, granite, slate, onyx, and on and on. They also stock stone tiles, including semi-precious stone such as onyx, malachite, lapis lazuli.
